Wow... a deviation. It's been a while. Some critique is welcome, I'm trying to make this the best possible. I find myself keep having to go back and try to make adjustments. I think I'm finished now though.
i like it, the title too. but 1 thing, around the edges of the edge of the eye is blurry, so it dosent seem to be quite, "apart" of the cracked dirt. but i really like this idea, and hope you work more on it. if you do come and find me, cause id love to see it

"Duct tape is like the force, it has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together.
You've done a great job on this image. It really makes the viewer sit back and think. It makes me wonder why she is like that. I wonder if the world has just sucked the life out of her. If she has been through too much and just can't take it much longer. I think you've done really well with the effects. There are a few spots that are a little light and some that are a little blurry, but I actually like that. It makes me think there is still hope for the girl. Like all is not lost, she is not completely dried up and broken.
Now that's pretty intense... I never looked at it that way. So far 2 people noticed the bluriness, I think I might have to try and fix it. Thanks for all the nice words.
I agree with the other comments. It depends on what you want the viewer to feel as to whether you would want to make the eye less blurry. It works the way it is because it makes it seem emotional. You may loose some of that deep emotion if you take that away. Great work!!
this is very nice, and I'll have to agree with the other comments about the emotional contents of this. The blurriness is definately there, but it doesn't really distract me.
